Mia Laufer Ph.D. , curator of European Art at the Chrysler Museum of Art will speak on Legacy 2025 Hampton Roads Jewish Artists of the past . She will speak about their artwork in the context of 20th century art .and will drawing on the themes of Torah, Jewish Culture, Contemporary Aesthetics and Personal Expression. Mia Laufer's lecture is a prequel to the December 6th opening event at the J.C.C where the works of these artists will be on display followed by a reception.
