Advisors Tip - Meeting Clients in the Moment After Passover

For your Jewish clients, Passover is a season rooted in reflection on freedom, legacy, and the responsibility to care for others. In the days and weeks following the holiday, these themes are often still top of mind, creating a natural and meaningful entry point for conversations around philanthropy.

As you reconnect, consider opening with questions that invite reflection before strategy:

  • What stood out to you this Passover?
  • Were there any conversations around your Seder table that stayed with you?
  • As you think about legacy, what feels most important to pass on to the next generation?
  • Are there causes or communities that feel especially meaningful to you right now?
  • Have you thought about how your giving might reflect the values you explored during the holiday?

Passover’s emphasis on storytelling, “telling the story from generation to generation,” can be a powerful bridge into discussions about legacy, family values, and long-term charitable impact.

By meeting your Jewish clients in this moment with curiosity, respect, and cultural awareness, you can help translate reflection into thoughtful, values-driven action.

If you’d like to think through how to approach these conversations, Naomi Limor Sedek, President & CEO of TJF, is always available as a resource. She would be glad to connect, strategize, and share practical insights to support your work.
