Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablets to enable all home health nurses and therapists to perform the required patient assessments and clinical documentation at the Point of Care, or the client’s bedside in his/her home.

Gift cards of any amount to Walmart, grocery stores, & gas stations.

JFS has an ongoing need for gift cards to help families and individuals purchase non-perishable food items, household supplies (toiletries, diapers, etc.) clothing and gas. Many families who access our food pantries are those that are considered to be the "working poor" -- people whose cost of living is outpaced by what they earn. They are often faced with the tough decisions to either pay a bill or buy household items. They often do not have the money for gas to get back and forth to work, often spiraling an already difficult situation worse. The use of gift cards to grocery stores and gas stations helps bridge a gap between paychecks. For others, illness and disability might prevent people from earning a paycheck, but their needs still remain.

JFS also provides guardianship services to hundreds of individuals who are appointed to us by the court. These are often people who are so marginalized and forgotten that they often only have the clothes on their backs. We help get them safe housing, medial attention and care-- but they often need clothes and personal care items. Gift cards can be used to help purchase socks, underwear, shoes and clothing, along with personal care items to help the person regain a sense of dignity.

All gift cards are distributed by staff after a needs assessment. JFS makes every attempt to balance out the person's needs with resources throughout the community. We appreciate all gift card donations.
